Business Association-CDC
The LABA-CDC provides support
to small business owners, assisting in organizing existing
and new businesses to regain stake in the community. By building
collaborations, and bridging merchant and community relationships
the LABA is able to give direction by providing a platform
for businesses to become actively involved with meeting the
social, community and economic development needs. LABA provides
technical assistance workshops addressing business needs, problem
solving and association participation. We support education,
communications, entrepreneurship, minority and small business
development. Through Electronic Marketing, we advertise the
businesses on the corridor, for increased business and support.
We also provide Bi-Monthly Newsletter-Showcase Community News - Educating
the Communities, for updates and information distribution,
bridging communities adjacent to the Historical Lancaster Avenue.
In recognition of collaborative effort between governmental
agencies, area CBO's CDC's, institutions etc., we support initiatives
designed for positive growth along our corridor recognizing "Teamwork & Unity-are
the Cornerstone of Successful Efforts".
